Our Sponsors help to make the Bourne Show possible and they enable us to support local charities and good causes. The main aim of the show (and is at the heart of our constitution) is ‘to provide a good day out for the community’, but fundraising has also become a big part of what we do.

The show has grown from its origins of ‘Bourne School’ sports day and community flower show in 1927, to the largest fete and flower show in the locality with an estimated 5000 visitors, and the sell-out ticketed ‘Bash’ for 500 revellers in the evening.

Without our sponsors, the show would not be as successful and our fundraising capacity would be reduced. Our sponsors help us to pay for things such as magic shows, bouncy castles and other children’s entertainment, in addition to the brass band, entertainers and the show prizes, plaques and engraving. They also help pay for some of the less glamorous items we need to put on the show – such as the hired van to transport all the tables, chairs and infrastructure (plus necessities such as the loos and the bins!)

The Bash sponsors help us to recruit the security, legendary bands and bar staff that are necessary to pull off a seamless and professional party.

For 2023, we were delighted to welcome show co-sponsors Burns & Webber Estate Agents and Chisholm Design.

The Burns & Webber team will join us on the day, so look out for their stall complete with fun competitions. You can find out more about their referral scheme too. They’ve also generously agreed to provide £250 in John Lewis vouchers to anyone who refers a friend to them to sell their house. Once the house is sold, both you and the friend you’ve recommended will receive £250 vouchers each. AND – they will also donate £250 to the Bourne Show fundraising pot.

Chisholm Design are a local and much beloved husband and wife team who deliver the most beautiful kitchens. On Show day, we are lucky to be joined by Rob Chisholm, Director in the firm – however, he is also a show volunteer, so we will be keeping him very busy all day.
