A message from our Chairman:

“Whilst good progress is being made with vaccinations in the UK, and the end of lockdown may be in sight, there is no real certainty that it will be possible to hold the Bourne Show on the planned date of 3rd July 2021. It is therefore with regret that the Committee has decided to cancel this year’s Bourne Show. Once again, we believe that by doing so decisively and at this early stage means we are acting in everyone’s best interests. The Committee’s thoughts go out to everyone impacted by the worldwide virus, especially our neighbours and friends in the Bourne.

We are planning to return in 2022 for what promises to be a memorable show after two years of absence, so please keep Saturday 2nd July free in your diary. The Committee will also be looking at whether an alternative community event can be organised in 2021 (COVID-19 permitting).

Should you have any questions in relation to the cancellation of this year’s show, please email info@thebourneshow.com.”

The Bourne Show, with its idyllic setting and carnival atmosphere, is one of the high points of the Farnham summer season.  The traditional village show, which has taken place on the Bourne Green, Lower Bourne in Farnham for over 90 years, provides a great afternoon out for all the family and raises money for local charities and good causes. This year, we have a circus theme and a workshop for anyone wishing to follow their dream of performing in a big top!
